John Ervin, son of William Ervin the ice dealer, died Wednesday night of consumption and will be buried
this afternoon.

James W. Estill
Died, in Van Wert county, Ohio, on the 24th, inst., of typhoid fever, James W. Estill. He was born July 4, 1799. He lived the life of a Christian and died in the of enjoying a blissful immortality.

Elizabeth E. Evans
Elizabeth E. Evans, wife of druggist John W. Evans, departed this life at her home on South Washington
street last Friday night, aged nearly 45 years. Mrs. Evans was born in Columbus and was one of eight
children, her parents being Richard E. and Mary Evans, both natives of Wales. The deceased lived in
Delphos for fourteen years but has been a resident of Van Wert for three years past. She leaves a
sorrowing husband and three children. The remains were taken to Venedocia, where rest the remains of
a daughter and two small boys that preceded her in death.
