Chester Deal
Chester Deal, a schoolboy of Van Wert, died Nov. 27 from injuries received by him in a football game. Death resulted from hemorrhage of the internal organs.

Abraham DeLong
Abraham De Long died near Van Wert on Thursday of last week from the effects of a bullet lodged in his forehead, where it had remained since Sherman's charge on Missionary Ridge, Nov. 25, 1864.

Frankie Dressel
The death of Frankie Dressel occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dressel, Convoy, April 18, 1891 at the age of ten years, six months and twenty-seven days. It was a sad event and surrounded by many circumstances of tender and sorrowful interest. Her funeral, which occurred April 20th, was attended by a large circle of sympathizing friends, and with these her classmates and teachers came to look upon her pure face once more.

George Dustman
George Dustman, Van Wert county pioneer, died Feb. 21 at his home. He was 87 years old, and the father of F. L. Dustman, managing editor of the Toledo Blade.
