Middlepoint items: The infant daughter of Rev. Faucett and wife died Friday and was buried Saturday.

Mrs. Robert Fife
Mrs. Robert Fife died at her home four miles north of town, in Hoaglin township, on the 19th inst., of
neuralgia of the heart, aged 62 years and 3 months. Mrs. Fife was a highly esteemed Christian woman
whose departure is mourned by the entire community. The funeral was not held until Saturday in hopes
Mr. A. Merrick and family of Louden, Tennessee might be able to come but it was impossible for them to
arrive in time for the services. A large concourse of sorrowing friends followed the remains to their
last resting place in Woodland.

B. Fitzpatrick
B. Fitzpatrick, a pioneer resident of Jennings township, died last Friday at his home near Monticello,
aged 60 years. The deceased was a respected citizen and an energetic, prosperous farmer. Funeral was
held Monday at the Catholic church in Spencerville. A widow and four children, a son and three daughters,
are left to mourn.
