Mrs. John Bailey
Mrs. John Bailey died at her home in the east part of town, Sunday night, of consumption, and was buried Tuesday afternoon from the Friends church, Rev. James Grandstaff officiating.

Charles S. Bay
Charles S. Bay, ex-Auditor of Hocking county, died at his home in Van Wert, county Ohio, last Wednesday, January 25, after a short illness of grippe. He was 55 years old, was both and raised in Starr township, Hocking county, He was the oldest of a family of eight, and the first to answer the final call. He leaves a wife but no children. His remains were brought to New Plymouth, where services were conducted at the Presbyterian church, at 10 o'clock, last Friday morning.

L. J. Beatty
L. J. Beatty, father of Surveyor L. R. Beatty, died this morning at 5 o'clock of dropsy, at his home four miles west of Convoy, aged 63 years. The deceased was born in Lancaster county, Pa., and came to this county about 1853. He was a faithful member of the Church of God and died a consistent christian. He took to his bed on July 6th and his suffering has been extreme and without ceasing. Funeral will be held Sunday. A sorrowing widow and five children, four sons and a daughter who lives in Oakland, Ca., are left to mourn the loss of a dear husband and father.

Amos Beldon
Amos Beldon departed this life at his late home in Liberty township, last Sunday afternoon, aged 76 years, 1 month and 18 days. The deceased was a highly respected citizen as well as a prominent pioneer, having resided on the farm on which he died for half a century. He was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Church of God. Two sons, two daughters and numerouse other relatives and friends mourn his death. Interment was at Ridge cemetery.

Paulena C. Bienz
Paulena C. Bienz, nee Germann, was born Sept. 29, 1862, in Harrison township, Van Wert county, Ohio and died in Willshire township Aug. 5, 1891. She was a long sufferer with consumption but was patient to the end. The deceased was a daughter of John P. Germann of Harrison township. She married Adam Bienz, to whom two children were born, one of them preceding her to their heavenly home. She joined the German Lutheran church at an early age, and gladly welcomed death, desiring to be present with the Lord. Burial in the Schumm cemetery.

Robert Brothers
Robert Brothers, an employee of the Natural Gas Company, who was severely burned several weeks ago while at work, died last Monday morning at his home on North Franklin street. The immediate cause of death was typhoid fever. He leaves a wife and child. Funeral services were held Tuesday.

Mrs. John Bucher, a estimable old lady, died quite suddenly Sunday morning and was buried at Dunkard cemetery Tuesday.

Burnett Child
Last Friday the little child of Mr. and Mrs. Burnett of Jennings Twp. died following a short illness. Funeral services were held at Olive Chapel on Saturday, with interment in the Wright cemetery.
