Aaron Thompson
Last Friday Aaron Thompson, son of John W. Thompson, who resides in the western part of Union
township, was struck by a limb of a falling tree and almost instantly killed. His back and leg
were broken, besides sustaining other injuries. He was immediately carried to the house but died
before it could be reached. Funeral took place Sunday at the Dix church. The deceased was 9 years,
6 months and 16 days old.

Robert Thompson
Robert Thompson died at his home in this town Monday morning, and was buried Tuesday. The deceased was
a pioneer citizen of this county, moving to Pleasant township in 1836. He was born in 1815 and therefore
was 76 years old at the time of his death.

George Tolan
Word has been received to the effect that George Tolan, a painter in Van Wert, whose body was found in St. Louis, came to his death as a result of heart disease, thus quieting the rumors that he had met with foul play.

Isaac J. Tolan
Isaac J. Tolan, formerly a typo in Carrollton, died at Delphos on June 7 of heart disease. His brother David is proprietor of the Delphos Herald, and Isaac had been working on that paper.
