James S. Norviel
The death of James S. Norviel, which occurred on Thursday of last week, was a sad affair indeed, this being the third time within a year that death has removed some member from the family circle, while the only daughter, Miss Minnie, is also nearing Death's portals, being stricken with the same disease as her father, consumption. The funeral service was held Friday at the Disciples church, of which he has been a faithful member for more than thirty years. His remains were laid to rest in Woodland cemetery at Van Wert.
