Elmer Hartshorn
Eimer Hartshorn, an old lawyer and resident of Delphos, died very suddenly on the 26th at his residence, by the bursting of a blood vessel.

George Hauber
George Hauber, employed on a farm two miles east of Delphos, died on the 17th from the effects of sunstroke.

Abraham Hoghe
Mr. Abraham Hoghe was born in Schuykill county, Penn., June 16th, 1810, and died Feb. 4th, 1891, aged 80 years, 7 months and 18 days. He, with his parents, moved to Franklin county, Ohio, in his boyhood days. In February, 1842, he married Miss Eliza Caldwell, and the following year he removed to Liberty township, this county, where he resided until his death, upon the farm which he first settled. He was a kind, indulgent husband and father, and a highly esteemed and respected neighbor and citizen. His aged companion and seven children, three sons and four daughters, survive him.

Bertha Elden Houck
Bertha Elden, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Houck, died early Monday morning of lung fever, aged 3 years and 8 months. Funeral took place at the Dix church, services by Rev. A. J. Collins and Rev. Lizzie Larkins.

Mrs. Nancy J. Hyatt
Pott's Corners items: Mrs. Nancy J. Hyatt departed this life July 31, aged 39 years and 27 days. She was a kind, loving and affectionate mother and neighbor. At the age of sixteen she enlisted in the christian life and was a constant worker in the U.B. church until her death. Over one hundred and twenty vehicles followed her remains to their last resting place in the Greenbrier cemetery. Mrs. Hyatt leaves two daughters and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Bloyd of Ohio City.
