Zephiniah Adams
Word has been received here stating that Zephiniah Adams died near Van Wert, Ohio, Jan. 19th. Mr. Adams was 97 years old and had spent most of his life in Leesburg, having removed to Van Wert some three or four years ago.

Sarah Galloway Addison
Sarah Galloway Addison died Aug. 9 at her home in Middlepoint. She was born Sept. 25, 1816, at Middletown, Butler county, Ohio, and in 1838 was united in marriage to Timothy Addison. About 1875 the couple came to Van Wert county. She was the mother of six children, three boys and three girls. Her husband and two daughters have preceded her to the spirit world. Three sons, one daughter and ten grandchildren survive her to mourn her loss.

Alexander
U. S. District Attorney Alexander, of Van Wert, died on Tuesday last at his home, after an illness of long duration. His death was caused by a carbuncle on the shoulder, which resulted in blood poisoning. He was widely known and looked upon as one of the most brilliant lawyers in the northwest.

Mary Elizabeth Armstrong
Mary Elizabeth Armstrong, nee Shrider, was born January 16, 1862, and died March 16, 1891, aged 29 years, and 2 months. She was married to Lafayette Armstrong Feb. 13, 1881. This union was blessed with four children, one of whom preceded her to the spirit world. She was baptised in infancy and early confirmed a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church, since which time she has remained a faithful member. The funeral took place from her late residence, one mile north of Middlepoint, on the 17th, and her mortal remains were followed to Middlepoint cemetery by a large concourse of friends and neighbors.
